On April 5, 2022 Honolulu’s Mayer signed Bill 38 into effect, banning all commercial activity on windward beaches from Waimanalo to Makapu’u of Hawaii. Bill 38 Hawaii photography affects far more than just the photography industry, but certainly makes sweeping changes to where families can do their photos. This ban includes several popular photography locations including:
