Keep It Moving Interview with Annemie Tonken, host of one of my favorite photography business podcasts, This Can’t Be That Hard

This Can’t Be That Hard

“This can’t be that hard” was exactly what I wast thinking 5 years ago when we moved from Japan to Quantico.

SURELY someone else had moved their photography business with less down time, right?! I mean, photogs are a dime a dozen in the military world.

I googled for hours only to find blog posts relocating offices within the same city. #nothelpful

I piecemeal-ed all I could from social media strategists, SEO experts, and business podcasts and for the last 3 moves, I think it’s worked out pretty well bc I’m still standing!

In this episode of @thiscantbethathard_ I’m sharing a laundry list of things I’ve done with each move bc it turns out I REALLY like what I do!

Whether you’re thinking about moving or just pivoting into something new, I think you’ll find something to try.

If you do, LMK how it goes!

Keep It Moving Podcast & Coaching

I’m sharing the steps and systems I’ve used to move my business with my own biz-bestie, Melissa Arlena on our own photography business podcast, Keep It Moving.

Between the two of us, we have combined 27 years in photography,10 years in IT and have lived through 9 business relocations.

4 moves ago I was frustrated watching my peers grow their businesses in one place while I was starting from scratch again. I knew I couldn’t be the only one relocating and wanting more financial stability. Despite my Googling, all I could find were vague blog posts, moderately interesting podcasts but not one truly helpful resource on how to relaunch my business in a new city.

Since then, I’ve streamlined a process to relocate and restart my business faster – booking clients within a month of arriving in my new location. It is possible to have clients waiting for you on the other side! I can help get you there.
