002 Aloha Oahu: Lauren Roth Art

LAUREN roth art podcast

Episode two of the Aloha Oahu Podcast!

I stumbled into Lauren Roth Art boutique in Kailua looking for pillows for our new day bed. I was blazing by headed to a home good shop when I saw pillows on the center table. I immediately stopped and struck up a conversation. Turns out Lauren went to school at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) – only a couple hours from my home town in Charleston, SC. And when you’re thousands of miles from any other land mass, that kind of proximity feels so close!

Lauren Roth Art Boutique

I immediately reached out to chat with Lauren about her art & business, Lauren Roth Art Boutique.

What I love about Lauren Roth Art is that the art isn’t just printed to be framed. It’s printed on pillows, kitchen towels, placemats, even clothing!

Lauren Roth Art is in the middle of Kailua Town featuring artists all over the island.

Lauren is a painter and designer living on the beautiful Island of O’ahu. She makes happy art, created to make you smile! Creating is her calling and passion, but the people it has connected her to and continues to, is what brings the most joy.

Hi! I’m Alison, your chaos coordinator, toddler briber, and parent commiserator. Oh! And Oahu family photographer!

As the ringleader of my own 4-boy circus, I know how hard getting family photos can be.

I run my photo session like a party. I give you something TO DO so you don’t feel awkward wondering, “Where do I put my HANDS?!”

Dad is playing with the kids, everyone forgets what’s ACTUALLY happening, and you look amazing bc you’re actually enjoying yourself. #whoknewphotoscouldbefun

Fast. Fun. Done.
