It all started with a rogue wave that washed her kids’ toys out to sea.
Rogue Wave Toys is on a mission to change the plastics industry – and our oceans. Kate is using new plant-based plastics to create beach toys.
Kate is a mom of two, Air Force spouse (retired!), rescue animal junkie, bird rehabber, and owner of this innovative beach toy business for almost eight years.
When she’s not trying to change the plastics industry, Kate loves surfing her local breaks, swimming to Popoia with her friend, beach walking with her dogs, hiking her neighborhood trails, and creating and filming classes for her online spin studio.
