North End Beach is quickly becoming my favorite spot for family photo sessions! It’s tricky, but man its so rewarding when the light hits just right, and there’s zero clouds on the western horizon.
What I love most about this area are the wide dunes and tall grasses. Some areas of the the North End have dreamy oak trees covering the boardwalk that look like a story book!
This area of town was largely a secret to me our first 9 months because of the Navy’s HPCON restrictions. Any time we went to the beach it had to be on base! Thank goodness that’s over… for now.
This particular area is 81st street, which actually has parking! No crossing Atlantic Avenue with small children.
When to schedule beach sessions
Beach sessions are still viable from May through the fall until the end of October.
While November beach sessions are possible, they’re not reliable. The beach is always windy (read: COLD) and kids will not fake being warm. Sooo its either sweaters & boots in the sand, or get the schedule asap for the best dates before it cools too much. Hit me up here to see what’s available!
